Store Policies

Shipping Information

All spot removers and pet odor/stain removers are normally shipped within 1-2 days by FedEx Ground. Please allow up to 10 business days for delivery. For items marked special order, vacuum cleaners, the Dri-Lux Carpet Cleaning System, and the Windsor Dry Cleaning Machine, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery. Occasionally, unexpected shortages and manufacturer out-of-stock conditions result in backordered items. We will notify you if any backordered items will delay your order. All items instock or backordered will be shipped at the same time. Items ordered together may be shipped separately.

If you have received spot removers or any other liquid products please open your package immediately and remove the bottles and place them in their upright positions. We cannot be held responsible for the loss of contents from bottles from improper storage. Storing bottles in their horizontal positions may force the contents to break the cap and seal.

Delivery Inside and Outside Continental U.S.

At this time, we only offer shipping to the United States. Telephone orders are necessary for shipments to APO and FPO addresses. All orders to APO and FPO addresses are sent by USPS. We do not have standard delivery to US Possessions, Puerto Rico and other international orders. We do not ship to PO Boxes.

Returns - Equipment

In the event that you are dissatisfied with any equipment you purchase from us, a Return Authorization number by email is required on all returned orders. In order for you to receive credit, we must have all such items returned within 30 days. All such items must be unused and in new condition. Return the unused equipment back to us within 30 days from date of invoice along with the original copy of your invoice and we will refund the cost minus shipping and handling. There is a 20%-25% restocking fee on returns. Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We reserve the right to refuse credit on worn or used items. This does not include special order items, vacuums or dry cleaning equipment.


Cancelled Orders

If an order has been cancelled after if has been processed, but before it has been shipped, there is a 10% processing fee. If an order has been cancelled after if has been processed and after it has been shipped, there is a 20-30% restocking fee plus return postage fee if applicable.


Missing or Damaged Packages

Red Hot Carpet Cleaning does not accept responsibility for lost or stolen packages, so PLEASE be sure to arrange to be at home to accept your package, or have it delivered to a secure site.
We are not responsible for packages that FedEx or the Post Office loses or damages; please remember that we only have control of your order up to delivering it to either the Post Office or FedEx. With that in mind, you are responsible for filing a claim for any missing or damaged packages. we will, however, provide any details you need and will help as much as possible, including providing any Tracking Numbers and Insurance information, but you must do the work to recover any package once it leaves our shop.

If your order arrived damaged please contact us within 3 business days at: order@redhotcarpetcleaning.com. It is necessary to retain the box and all contents for inspection by the shipper for proof and credit.

Special Orders

Red Hot Carpet Cleaning will gladly order an item for you that we do not stock. These items will be ordered for you on a non-cancelable, non-returnable basis only.


Warranties

Vacuum Cleaners have a 18 month residential warranty and a 12 month commercial use warranty through the manufacturer. Parts and service are available at the Red Hot Carpet Cleaning Store and/or the manufacturer.


Exceptions:

Any item that is not specifically mentioned above carries no warranty, guarantee, or return. If package or product is opened and/or used, it is not re-saleable and cannot be exchanged or refunded. This page is written guarantee and no other guarantees or statements supercede the contents on this page unless written or expressed by the manufacturer.
